Trinidad Corcel: Year of the Horse Año Chino 2026
Trinidad Corcel is Habanos S.A.'s Año Chino (Chinese New Year) release for the Year of the Horse, unveiled at a launch event in Hong Kong. It is a 5 3/10 in (135mm) x 55 parejo with a pigtail, a new Cuban vitola called patricios. Habanos states an SRP of US$84.25 / €78 per cigar, with prices varying by market, and 8,888 boxes of 18 cigars are being made. Boxes carry NFC anti-counterfeiting technology. Distribution is handled by Infifon HK for China and Pacific Cigar Co. for most of Asia, which is also the route Cuban cigars reach Australia; availability may follow in other markets later.
