2026 Manuka Beetle 2oz Silver Proof Coin
New Zealand Post's final coin issue as official distributor of Reserve Bank of New Zealand commemorative coins: a rectangular 2oz .999 silver proof and colour coin featuring the endemic mānuka beetle (Pyronota festiva / kerewai), designed by Fuller Design of Wellington and struck by BH Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt. The 38 x 55 mm coin carries a high-relief, iridescent-coloured beetle on a mirrored proof field, a $1 denomination and the effigy of King Charles III. Worldwide limited mintage of 400, each supplied in a perspex-window presentation case with a certificate of authenticity. NZ Post's numismatic department is closing and clears remaining stock through November 2026.
