New Zealand Post: Mānuka Beetle 2oz Silver Proof Coin 2026
Manuka Beetle 2oz Silver Proof
The mānuka beetle (Pyronota festiva) features on New Zealand Post's final commemorative coin issue, a rectangular 2 oz .999 silver proof with iridescent colour on a high-relief beetle against a mirrored background. It is minted by BH Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, designed by Fuller Design of Wellington, and limited to a maximum mintage of just 400 worldwide — each encapsulated in a display case with a perspex window and a certificate of authenticity. It closes out 25 years of NZ Post as the official distributor of New Zealand commemorative coins; the numismatic department continues to fulfil orders and clear stock to November 2026. Priced NZ$463.57.
