USPS: Sarah Orne Jewett Three Ounce stamp
Sarah Orne Jewett stamp
USPS honours American writer Sarah Orne Jewett (1849-1909) with a Three Ounce stamp, dedicated 21 August 2026 in South Berwick, Maine, the town where her life imitated art. The stamp is printed with the words "THREE OUNCE" to indicate its usage value and, like a Forever stamp, always remains valid for the rate printed on it. Available in panes of 20 at Post Offices and usps.com; designed by USPS art director Ethel Kessler with art by Mark Summers.
