A. Lange & Söhne: Triple Split in Platinum
The third version of A. Lange & Söhne's Triple Split, and the first in platinum, with a rhodium-plated dial. It is the only watch in the world able to measure intermediate and comparative times with an aggregate duration of up to 12 hours, using the 567-part hand-wound triple-rattrapante calibre L132.1 with a 55-hour power reserve and the brand's AB/AUF power-reserve indicator at 6 o'clock. Three pushers run start/stop, flyback and the rattrapante mechanism, with elapsed hours at 12 and a jumping 30-minute counter at 4. The 43.2mm platinum case measures 15.6mm thick. Limited edition of 100 pieces, expected retail around €210,000.
