Apiar: Carbon1.0 OG
Apiar's first sports watch and, the brand says, the first commercially available watch made with Composite-Based Additive Manufacturing. A 3D-printed carbon-fibre outer case is printed layer by layer with thin woven sheets bonded by heat, surrounding a Grade 23 titanium inner case visible through skeletonised portions of the frame. The 40.5mm case is 9.2mm thick with 50m water resistance, and the dial is CNC-machined aluminium with a brick-like motif chosen to echo the non-continuous carbon strands. Inside is a La Joux-Perret G101 automatic with 68 hours of power reserve. Two configurations: standard at US$1,800, or an Additive Upgrade at US$2,080 with a British-made Alcantara strap, 3D-printed titanium buckle and the brand's Impossible nylon travel case.
