Glenmorangie 50 Year Old
Glenmorangie's oldest whisky to date, a 50-year-old single malt presented in 149 unique handcrafted porcelain vessels that form a tessellated artwork titled 'Together in Spirit'. Spirit from the mid-1970s using the last batches of barley from the distillery's own floor maltings (decommissioned 1977), matured in Bourbon hogsheads and first-fill oloroso sherry butts and married in 1999 into a refill hogshead. Bottled at 45.7% ABV. £25,800; available from September through the Moët Hennessy private client team, the Tain visitor centre and select retailers.
