Glenmorangie: 50 Years Old
Glenmorangie's oldest bottling to date: a 50 Years Old Highland single malt, released from 2026 at £25,800 (US$34,700 / €30,000). Just 149 numbered bottles, each in a bespoke porcelain vessel handcrafted by American ceramic artist Peter Pincus and his studio over three years, using 50 bespoke colour pigments for a unique pattern on every piece. Distilled in the mid-1970s from some of the last barley malted at the distillery's own floor maltings (decommissioned 1977), matured in bourbon hogsheads and first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, then married in 1999 into a single refill hogshead for its final 25 years. Non-chill filtered, 45.7% ABV cask strength.
