Highland Park 17 Year Old: Between You and I by Lalia Gohar
17 Year Old Between You and I (Lalia Gohar)
The second edition of Highland Park's Between You and I series, a 17-year-old single malt created with New York-based Egyptian-American artist and food designer Lalia Gohar. Partly aged in new American oak casks, it is described as carrying notes of orange blossom, warming spices and leather, with the distillery's signature aromatic peat smoke. Gohar's surrealist artwork features on the packaging, which includes a booklet of short vignettes in place of traditional tasting notes. Bottled at 47.5% ABV; listed at £122 by The Whisky Shop (RRP £112).
