Penfolds Special Shiraz 2024
A one-off limited release from Penfolds created to honour Shiraz, released in the 75th anniversary year of Grange. Blended from select parcels of prized South Australian fruit from the 2024 vintage (Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley, Padthaway, Wrattonbully), with a small deliberate inclusion of 2024 Grange drawn from barrel. 750 mL, cork closure, 14.5% alc/vol, matured 12 months in American (17% new) and French (83% seasoned) oak hogsheads; scored 96 points by Andrew Caillard MW. Sold out on the Penfolds AU store.
