Penfolds Superblend 802.A 2022, the first of the 2022 limited-release Superblend duo: one wine made two ways from elite South Australian Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz parcels normally destined for Grange and Bin 707. 802.A is the Cabernet-dominant interpretation, aged in new American oak hogsheads. A$900 per 750 mL bottle or A$5,400 per six-bottle case, sold through Penfolds and select fine wine retailers. Global limited release; Penfolds does not publish a production number.
