Torbreck: 2023 The Pict
The 2023 The Pict is a single-vineyard Mataro (Mourvèdre) from Torbreck, sourced from a remnant quarry vineyard in the Barossa Valley that gives the fruit a wild, rugged character reminiscent of Bandol. Named for the Picts in Torbreck's Celtic naming convention, it is released to the producer's direct shop at A$80 a bottle. Listed as current vintage in Torbreck's shop, published September 2026.
